Marque Property Group, an award-winning building company specialising in architecturally designed custom and luxury homes across Victoria, has revealed the latest trends that will define high-end living in 2025.

From curved architecture to subterranean parking, Marque Property Group’s General Manager David Borg said homebuyers are looking for a balance between aesthetics and practicality.

“Subterranean parking is becoming an increasingly sought-after feature as it allows homeowners to maximise the site’s potential while achieving a striking facade free from the dominance of garage doors.

“Integrated furniture is also becoming a must-have in high-end homes, from built-in seating and shelving to seamlessly incorporating storage solutions, this trend enhances both aesthetics and functionality,” said David.

Curved architecture will continue to gain traction in 2025, with homeowners embracing rounded walls, arches, and sculptural windows. This shift towards fluid design is complemented by a surge in natural materials, including warm timbers, raw stone, concrete, and mixed metals, adding depth and texture to interior spaces.

While landscaping and outdoors are sometimes an afterthought, David said there has been a surge in homeowners requesting pool houses to be constructed simultaneously with the main home build.

“This not only ensures a cohesive design, it also streamlines costs. Pool houses are becoming increasingly popular as they offer resort-style living by providing dedicated spaces for relaxation and entertaining.

“Additionally, the connection between indoor and outdoor living will only continue to grow, with large openable glass providing natural light and a seamless transition to alfresco areas. Paired with a shift towards lighter, textured materials, this trend fosters an inviting and contemporary aesthetic.

“Our designs combine stunning architecture with everyday functionality to create homes that are trendy, timeless and inspiring,” he said.

Marque’s builds cater to a broad spectrum of luxury buyers, with bespoke custom homes starting from $1M upwards, while Marque’s Black Range caters to a sub $1M range, allowing customers to choose sophisticated predetermined plans. Whether crafting pre-designed homes or curating fully custom builds, Marque ensures each residence is a masterpiece of design and craftsmanship, offering a fully integrated process that encompasses design, planning and construction. Marque is backed by its parent company, AHB Group, the second largest builder in Victoria and sixth nationally.
